We presented our research results in International Conference (ISC2024)

We participated in the 40th International Symposium on Combustion held in Milan, Italy from July 21st to 26th, 2024.

This conference is one of the largest international conferences in the field of combustion engineering, and only papers that pass a rigorous screening process are allowed to be presented (the average acceptance rate at this conference was about 30%). In our laboratory, a paper summarizing the results of an experimental study conducted as a graduation research project in 2023 on how the flammability range changes when an ammonia/oxygen premixture is ignited using the laser breakdown ignition method by adding inert gases (nitrogen, argon, and helium) was accepted and presented in a poster. This was my first time attending this conference, but I think it was the largest conference I have ever attended. We were able to have useful discussions about the content of the presentation that will help with future research developments. Being accepted at this conference is one of the major goals for combustion researchers. I believe that the content of the graduation research has come to fruition in this way and has been able to be disseminated to the world from Suwa thanks to the steady efforts of our students. We will continue to work hard to produce results that will continue to be adopted in the future.
