Published our research in Fire Saety Journal
We are pleased that our research paper which aims to reveal the critical ignition condition of flammable premixture by a heated surface is published from Fire Safety Journal (IF=3.1). This research was conducted as the graduation thesis and master's thesis in FY2021-2022. This paper describes the normalized relationship of the critical ignition condition and discussion of the ignition position and ignition temperature of propane/air premixture impinging to a heated surface. The result described in this paper is expected to contribute the risk management to ensure safe for utilizing next-generative energies addressing the conceivable accident scenarios. The detailed content of this paper will be presented by oral presentation in IAFSS2023 held in Tsukuba, Oct. 2023. This paper could be published with kind contribution by Mr. Haruki Sakuma who was former undergraduate student, Mr. Masato Nakazawa who was former master's course student in our laboratory, and Prof. Kazunori Kuwana in Tokyo University of Science.
