Our laboratory will be opened two days and introduces the various recent reseach on combustion engineering conducted our laboratory and our experimental equipments. 

5th, August 2022: State-of-the-art combustion engineering: Innovative ignition technology using laser-beam

The laser-induced breakdown ignition method is expected as the innovative technology to improve efficiency and environmental load of engines. We will show the ignition of flammable gases using laser-breakdown spark.

6th, August 2022: State-of-the-art combustion engineering: Innovative extingusihment method in spacecraft using vacuum suction

In near future, it is expected that spacetrip will be easier. By the way, if a fire accident occurs in spacecraft, how should we response to extinguish fire? If we use water to extinguish, we get soaking wet, and if we use inert gas like CO2, we suffocate. We show the extinguishing method by vacuum suction which is espected as one of the solution on this problem. 

We believe this is good oppotunity to feel the laboratory at university and to find your interest. Please come on our laboratory!
